Week 6

This week we learned a lot about feeding tubes.  We learned how to feed and give meds through nasogastric tubes and G-tubes.  We also practiced for our skills check off in lab, which Im a little nervous for.  Tomorrow we are doing group projects on health care of different countries.  My group got Italy.  Im hoping our presentation goes smooth. =]  I have my last clinicals this week and Im super excited to see what this week will bring.  I did so much last week and feel like Im starting to really get the hang of it.  Medicine sheets are kinda a pain, but I understand how important they really are.  I def. need to practice my skills for skills check off some more before next thursday and friday.  Im really nervous!  On the other hand, this class is soon coming to an end and I know I got to stay motivated and keep on top of everything.
